This policy explains what data Heshbon Nefesh collects, why, and what your rights are.
1 Data we collect
- Email address: to create and secure your account.
- Geolocation: to compute Jewish times (zmanim) and location-specific calendar content. You may decline; some features will then be limited.
- Spiritual practice data (actions, challenges, feelings, personal notes): to run the tracking and generate your review. This data reflects religious beliefs and is treated as sensitive; it is used solely to provide the service, based on your consent.
- Payment data: handled by our subscription provider. We do not store your card details.
2 Processors
Your data may be processed by: Supabase (hosting and database), Anthropic (generating your personalized AI review), RevenueCat (subscription management), Expo (push notifications) and Google (sign-in). Each accesses only the data needed for its function.
3 AI review
The content you enter (questionnaire, personal note, practices) is sent to Anthropic to generate your review. This processing is automated and used solely to produce the text returned to you.
4 Retention
Your data is kept while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from the app; your data is then erased.
5 Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, erase, and object to the processing of your data. For any request: contact@heshbonnefesh.app.
6 Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your data. No system is fully secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7 Minors
The app is not intended for individuals below the age of legal consent in their country. We do not knowingly collect their data.
8 Changes
This policy may change. The current version is published at heshbonnefesh.app.
